Applications are invited for admission to the following courses for the academic year 2025 – 2026

The courses are run on Four Year Under Graduate Programmes (FYUGP) Duration of the courses – 4 Years (8 Semesters)

  1. B.A. English and Communicative English(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto.

  1. B.Sc. Biochemistry and Industrial Microbiology(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with Biology as one of the subjects.

  1. B.Sc. Botany and Biotechnology(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with Biology as one of the subjects.

  1. B.Sc. Computer Science(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary (Science stream) or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala with Computer Science /Computer Applications/ Mathematics as one of the optional subjects.

  1. B.Sc. Electronics(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with Physics as one of the subjects.

  1. B.Com.- Business Information Systems (Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided candidates coming from Non-Commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.

  1. B.Com. Taxation (Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto provided candidates coming from Non-Commerce group should have at least 45% of the aggregate marks.

  1. BBA-Bachelor of Business Administration(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary or any other examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto with any subject combination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

  1. BCA – Bachelor of Computer Applications(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala with Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Mathematics/ Informatics practices (IP) as one of the optional subjects.

  1. BSW-Bachelor of Social Work(Honours/Research)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent recognized by the University.

  1. B.Sc. Psychology(Honours/Research)

A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the State or an Examination accepted by the University as equivalent thereto.

Second language-Arabic / Hindi / Malayalam

  1. M.A. English (Language and Literature)

B.A. English as optional main subject securing not less than 45% in Part III including subsidiaries or Graduation in any subject in the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Oriental studies and Fine Arts securing not less than 50% marks in Part I (Three papers under compulsory English) or Part II Special English (UO No. AcAII/4/29/2018 dtd 23.05.2018)/ B.A Communicative English (Vocational)/B.A English Language and Literature and B.A Communicative English (Restructured) U.O No.Ac.AII/3/4961/06 dt. 22.06.06. Or For Non-English degree holders, the maximum marks that can be awarded in Part I or Part II Special English should be at least of 300 marks to acquire A weightage of 5% which would eligibility for admission.

  1. M.Com. Finance

Commerce as Core Course with not less than 45% marks in Part III optional subjects B.Com Computer Application/ B.Com. Tourism and Travel Management (Career Related/ Vocational/ Restructured)/ B.Com. Tax Procedure and Practices (Career Related/ Vocational/ Restructured)/ B.Com Actuarial Science (Vocational)/ B.Com Office Management &Secretarial Practice/B.Com Hotel Management and Catering (Career Related/ Restructured)/B.Com Accounts and Data Science(Double Main) BBA/BBS/BBM graduates are also eligible. 80% of the total seats for M.Com degree courses in affiliated colleges shall be reserved for candidates with B.Com degree (regular), B.Com (career related, vocational and double main) and the remaining 20% of the seats will be open to graduates namely BBA,BBS, BBM degree holders , if otherwise eligible based on merit.   1. M.Sc. Biochemistry

B.Sc. with Bio-Chemistry or Chemistry as Main or B Sc Bio Chemistry (Main) and Industrial Micro Biology or graduation in any Multimajor course with Bio Chemistry as Main securing not less than 55% marks for Part III 25% seats will be reserved for candidates with B.Sc.Biochemistry.

  1. M.S.W – Master of Social Work

The eligibility for admission to MSW & MAHRM Degree Course under the University of Kerala is a pass with 50% marks in aggregate in the degree examination (including B.Tech, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS and L.L.B.) declared by the University of Kerala as equivalent thereto with 50% in Part III in the case of B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. A weightage of 25% seats for BSW holders for MSW course.

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category:A pass in the Qualifying Examination with minimum CGPA(S) of 1.5(CBCS Prior to 2013 admissions)/CCPA(S) of 4 (CBCS 2013 admissions)

Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category:The minimum mark in the qualifying examination for PG Degree course of study is 35%.

SEBC Category: A relaxation of 2% in the Qualifying Examination from the prescribed minimum is allowed.

Persons with Disability Category (Differently Abled): A relaxation of 5% in the Qualifying Examination from the prescribed minimum is allowed.

SPECIAL ORDER STIPULATED FOR ADMISSION

An applicant for admission found to have indulged in ragging in the past or if it is noticed later that he/she has indulged in ragging, admission may be refused or he/she shall be expelled from the educational institution

Application for admission in Management Quota Seat shall be made online on the college website: https://ncas.edu.in

The candidates seeking admission under Management Quota seats also should register their names online through the University website.

The printout of the online registration should be attached along with the application for the Management Quota seat and the same should be submitted directly before the Principal.
