Head of the Department
It’s inspiring to hear about the growth and vision of the Department of Electronics at National College. Established in 1995, the department has undoubtedly made significant strides in becoming one of the leading departments within the college.
Electronics plays a crucial role in various fields, enabling advancements in technology and innovation. Electronics serves as the underlying technology that powers advancements in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, robotics, and biometrics, enabling innovative solutions and applications across diverse fields and industries. The Department seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the above industries. Our goal is to provide students with a balance of intellectual and practical experiences that enable them to serve a variety of societal needs.
The introduction of the Physics and Computer Application (PCA) course reflects the department’s commitment to offering relevant and job-oriented programs that meet the needs of today’s dynamic job market. By combining physics principles with computer applications, students can develop a comprehensive skill set that prepares them for a wide range of career opportunities in technology and related fields.
With six undergraduate and one postgraduate batch, the department is attracting a substantial number of students who are eager to pursue education and careers in the hardware and software fields. This diversity in the student population allows for a vibrant learning environment where students can exchange ideas and collaborate on projects.
The department’s focus on producing professionally capable individuals who are equipped to tackle real-world challenges is commendable. With a dedicated team of eleven faculty members, students have access to guidance and support as they navigate through their academic journey.
I am confident that the students of our department would justify the credibility of the department by showing a high level of professional competence in their respective fields.
