Academic Monitoring Committee

An Academic Monitoring Committee is constituted for the evaluation, monitoring and to suggest remedial measures if any required for attaining academic excellence-academic results, meritorious achievements, discipline in campus life and social life etc. in tune with our mega project ‘Learning is Life’. A three tier Academic Monitoring Committee is constituted under the guidance and supervision of College Level Academic Advisory Council (AAC, NC). The College Advisory Council will be constituted with eminent academicians, Administrative Heads, Management Expert etc.

There will be a Departmental Academic Committee with HOD as a Chairman and a senior faculty as Convener. The Departmental Academic Committee will meet on a weekly basis and discuss, evaluate and monitor the discipline related and academic related performance of the students under the department. The class-in-charge and mentor will report the student wise report in the committee for the remedial measures if any required for attaining the accomplished task in tune with our project ‘Learning is Life’

The next level of Academic Committee is constituted with cluster of departments under a Centre to ensure the smooth academic functioning of the departments. As such there will be Centre for Business Studies, Centre for Language Studies, Centre for Technology, Centre for Life Science and Centre for Social Science. The Centre will be chaired on a rotation basis for every academic year from among the HODs of departments under the Centre. The Convener of the Centre will also be on a rotation basis for every academic year. There will be a biweekly evaluation meeting convened by the Convener in consultation with the Centre Chairperson. All the HODs of departments under the Centre will report the deliberation of the department level Academic Committee. The Centre will guide, assist and monitor in attaining academic excellence in the campus.

Above the Centre Academic Committee there will be an Academic Monitoring Committee at the college level chaired by the Principal. The Convener of the committee will be nominated by the Principal from among the senior faculties. The Academic Monitoring Committee will meet every month. The Centre Chairman / Convener will report the deliberation of the Centre Committee. The Academic Monitoring Committee will be responsible for attaining the academic targets in the campus in tune with the project ‘Learning is Life and in accordance with the vision and mission of the management.
