Details of the Programme and Duration
The Programme leads to Bachelors Degree in the electronics subject. Course extends for a period of six semesters. The Programme of study shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures, practical training and other means. Students be admitted to the First Degree Programmes in the Faculties of Science.

M.Sc Electronics
Post Graduate Degree Programme
MSc Electronics is a two-year postgraduate degree program that encompasses a broad range of subjects such as Electronics, digital and analogue signals, semiconductors, and ICs. The objective of this course is to prepare students for professional roles that align with industry requirements. The program comprises a detailed study of subjects related to the field and involves training and comprehensive project internships. MSc Electronics combines various science subjects, including physics, computer science, and electrical studies. The course structure includes core subjects and elective courses, which are taught over two years, divided into four semesters. The program aims to equip students with skills relevant to the industry and to cater to the needs of R&D departments and businesses. Eligibility
The eligibility for admission to MSc Electronics degree course in affiliated institutions under Kerala University is a BSc Degree in Electronics/ Physics/ Computer Science/ BCA with not less than 50 % marks in optional subjects or 2.0 CGPA (s) out of 4.0 or 5.0 CCPA(s) out of 10.0 subject to the usual concessions allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
Programme structure and duration
The program will last for four semesters, with each semester lasting for 70 working days. The program will consist of two types of courses: Core courses and Elective courses. The first semester will include five core courses and two practical courses, while the second semester will have three core courses, one elective course, and two practical courses. In the third semester, there will be three core courses, one elective course, one practical course, and one mini project. In the fourth semester, there will be one core course, one elective course, a seminar, and a main project. At the end of the program, there will be a comprehensive viva-voce that covers questions from all courses included in the program.

Admission to the MSc degree course will follow the rules and regulations set by the University. Students who are accepted into this program will be subject to the current Regulations.
