➡️ The Department of English had a petite yet vivid start in 1995 by offering a General English course to the B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Electronics and B.Com. Now the Department has enhanced and burgeoned, extending its support to twelve other Disciplines. By 2010 onwards Department of English started functioning as a separate department, with the commencement of the course BA English and Communicative English. The postgraduate course in English Language and Literature commenced in the year 2013. Our prestigious department is marching forward proudly with new vigor, increased strength of the students, and a reasonably good pass percentage utterly by the whole-hearted effort of a talented team of dedicated faculty members.

➡️ All the courses have been offered following the semester system. Both the courses follow a Credit-based semester system with great enthusiasm. Equal attention is devoted to internal and external assessments.
