It is of great honor on my part to lead the Department of Commerce as it provides an enabling environment to help its students stand out academically and shape them into an overall balanced personality, both in terms of the college’s vision and today’s competitive environment. The legacy backed by our department over the years is a great inspiration for trying innovative methods in education and social reform. The students who complete their graduation or post-graduation from here are equipped to face the challenges of the time and emerge successful. The ebullience and enthusiasm of the staff members and the unstinting support of the management helped to traverse through all the adversities and progress successfully. To rev up the spirit of the students and the general public, the department organized various cultural, literary, and informative programs. We find an opportunity in every adversity and inculcate in our students qualities like empathy, compassion, and tolerance. We believe the right lessons given at the right time will help the students make their lives meaningful.

As the head of the department, I am extremely proud of students’ progress in various academic and non-academic fields. Their achievements, including gaining admission to prestigious institutions and being placed in various reputed institutions in India and abroad, reflect positively on the hard work and dedication of both students and faculty.

I am excited and grateful to be part of this department. I wish all the students a successful academic journey. I also extend my best wishes to the faculty for a fulfilling career.
